2025 Arctic Cooperation Week awaits the participation of many citizens.
If you register in advance, you will receive a small gift through a lottery after the event.
Notice
The Arctic Partnership Week (APW) is the largest comprehensive Arctic-related event in Korea, where domestic and international government institutions, researchers, businesses, and civil society come together to discuss sustainable development and international cooperation in the Arctic region.
It is held annually in December in Busan and features a variety of programs, including academic conferences, policy forums, exhibitions, and youth engagement activities.
Most sessions are free of charge and open to participants who complete online pre-registration via the official website.
Please note that some specialized sessions may have limited seating and may close early once capacity is reached.
Registered participants will receive an on-site information email and an entry QR code prior to the event.
You can check the schedule by date and session in the "Program Schedule" menu on the official website. The main event will be held at BEXCO in Busan, and detailed location information (including conference room numbers) can be found on the official website and in the program book.
Korean–English simultaneous interpretation will be provided during the main international sessions.
On-site participants can listen using interpretation receivers available at the venue.
During APW, a variety of side events and exhibitions will be held, including a Polar Photo Exhibition, public participation programs, and networking opportunities with experts.
In particular, exhibitions on Arctic-related institutions, science experience booths, and photo displays will be open to the public free of charge.
